Eric Hemer is the Educational Director for Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida.

In addition to working with SWS sales personnel around the state, he also teaches classes on wine for restaurant and retail trade personnel, as well as evening classes on wine at Florida International University and Chef Jean-Pierre's Culinary Center for Hospitality Management students and consumers. Professional Credentials: Member of the Society of Wine Educators (SWE), holds title of Certified Wine Educator (CWE), highest level of certification offered by the SWE. Passed the Court of Master Sommeliers Diploma exam in March of 2003. Also an MW candidate in the Masters of Wine program, having passed the Practical portion of the exam in June 2005. Eric Hemer resides in Lake Worth, Florida with wife Marianne and 13-year-old daughter, Julia.
