We are proud to celebrate our very own Bobby Stuckey, MS, visionary restaurateur and tireless advocate for the hospitality industry, on being named the 2025 Julia Child Award recipient.
With nearly four decades of leadership, mentorship, and unwavering passion, Bobby has elevated the food and wine world and championed the voices of independent restaurants across the country. His commitment to excellence and community continues to inspire us every day. Stuckey has worked his way from busboy to award-winning Master Sommelier, restaurateur, winemaker, and cookbook author. In June 2024, Stuckey earned Food & Wine’s second annual Mentorship Award, presented at the Classic in Aspen, for his tireless work in the industry.
Bobby is using the $50,000 grant accompanying the award to fund The Bobby and Danette Stuckey Endowed Scholarship at Northern Arizona University—supporting first-generation hospitality students who reflect the same grit and drive that define his career.
His journey embodies the heart of what it means to be a sommelier: service, humility, knowledge, and generosity of spirit.
