The Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas is pleased to announce the appointment of Meghann Craig to its Board of Directors. Craig, a high-impact marketing and communications executive with nearly two decades of experience driving growth for national brands and luxury hospitality groups, will serve a three-year term from 2026 through 2028.

The CMS-A Board of Directors is intentionally structured to include external members who are not Master Sommeliers. This structure integrates specialized skills and diverse perspectives from outside the wine industry, ensuring a broad range of expertise that enhances the organization’s ability to uphold its global standards of excellence.

“I am humbled and honored to join the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas,” said Craig. “I am in awe of this talented and passionate community who are so committed to elevating the beverage and hospitality industry for all. As a creative storyteller at heart, I’m excited to ignite new ideas and strategies that can further energize membership and drive impact for this prestigious organization.”

“Meghann brings a unique blend of creative storytelling and data-driven strategy that is invaluable as we continue to evolve our organization,” said Michael Meagher, Chair of the CMS-A Board of Directors. “Her proven track record in scaling hospitality brands and her relentless drive to challenge the status quo will provide our board with fresh insights to better serve our members and the broader hospitality community.”

Currently, Craig is Sr. Director at Citizen Relations, a global PR agency built to unleash the potential of ambitious brands. Formerly, Craig was the VP of Marketing at Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment, a nationally acclaimed fine dining group. Under her leadership, she oversaw brand strategy for seven regional locations, the launch of new catering and events businesses, and the digital transformation of the company’s data infrastructure to drive growth.

Craig has earned recognition as a 2X winner for Campaign US’ “Best Agency Marketing & Communications Team of the Year” (2019 & 2022). In addition to her professional achievements, she serves on the Xavier University Marketing Advisory Board and United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s Marketing Committee.
