The inaugural Women’s Sommelier Symposium, hosted by the CMS-A, in partnership with the Santa Barbara Vintners Association, marked a significant milestone in the wine industry. Led by six esteemed Master Sommeliers and featuring a lineup of influential speakers and moderators, the symposium addressed topics ranging from turning your side-hustle into a businesses to navigating the challenges of the industry. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with industry trailblazers, including winemakers, farmers, general managers, and restauranteurs.


The choice of Santa Barbara as the symposium’s location was intentional, considering its reputation as a region with a high number of women winemakers.
