Chris Blanchard, MS has more than 25 years running the wine programs at award-winning restaurants in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the Napa Valley and now works with the prestigious Opus One Winery in the Napa Valley.
His restaurant experience includes many years as the Wine Director and Sommelier for REDD Restaurant, where San Francisco Magazine named Chris as the “Critic’s Choice Best Wine Director” in the San Francisco Bay Area, and Food & Wine Magazine has also featured his career calling him a “Star Sommelier”. He was consulting Wine Director for the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, as well as creating beverage programs for Four Star resorts and Michelin restaurants throughout California and the Napa Valley.
Chris has worked for nearly 20 years as moderator, sommelier, and guest speaker with the Pebble Beach Food & Wine event and currently resides in the Napa Valley representing the iconic Opus One Winery.
