Thomas Price, a Master Sommelier since 2012, is a highly respected figure in the wine and hospitality industry, known for his dynamic career and dedication to education. Serving as chairman of SommFoundation and ambassador for the Bourgogne Wine Board, he plays a significant role in promoting wine knowledge and supporting sommelier development through educational events and mentorship programs.

Currently based at Auburn University in Alabama, he is the Master Sommelier in Residence at 1856—Culinary Residence, a teaching restaurant at the Tony and Libba Rane Culinary Science Center. He also teaches a beverage appreciation course at the Horst Schulze School of Hospitality Management, where he focuses on inspiring and mentoring the next generation of hospitality professionals.
